CSR
Wilken’s operations are based out of Nairobi, Kenya with a footprint in a number of African countries. Africa is the next growth frontier with enormous potential, vast resources, growing economies, and a large youthful population.
Wilken recognizes that our work can have an impact on society and the environment. A large part of our society is made up of the Youth and we have therefore chosen to focus on activities that empower the Youth as part of our CSR.
Some of these include:
- Supporting youth activities in Baba Dogo; Football , Rugby etc
- Sponsorship of sports events such as soccer
- Internships and work experience opportunities
- Sponsorship of sports events such as rugby and marathons
- Bursaries for gifted but underprivileged children and youth.
We are constantly striving to find new ways to empower the youth who are our best chance for a better Kenya, a better Africa.
