Local and Wide Area Networks-Building ICT infrastructure has been the backbone of Wilken’s technology enterprise. We lay the robust infrastructure that supports our client’s business applications. The infrastructure includes Fibre Cabling and Fibre Networks, Structured Cabling, Switches, UPSs, and WiFi amongst others. Our services primarily involve designing, implementing, and managing client networks. Managed Network and Internet Connectivity– Wilken builds, operates, secures, and manages our clients’ ICT networks. This involves clients outsourcing some or all their network components and solutions to us. Good internet connectivity in remote and unique sites provides challenges to most clients. Wilken assists our clients in designing tailored solutions that meet the client’s requirements not only from an effective and efficient approach but one that also by delivering value for money. Radio Networks- Wilken has extensive experience in designing high-performance, independent, and secure wireless networks using readily available hardware and at a reasonable cost. We are a market leader in designing, installing, testing, and commissioning radio communication networks. Clients: Magical Kenya Open, World rally Championship, Sotik Tea, and Standard Chartered Marathon.
Data and Voice Solutions– Wilken has partnered with leading global brands such as Alcatel Lucent to deliver innovative and industry-specific solutions to our clients. This has included voice and data solutions for clients in the hospitality sector and power generation amongst others. Our systems have seamlessly interfaced with the clients’ back-end systems.
